佐渡交通の中心地 / The centre of transportation system of Sado
佐渡の表玄関・両津地区は、経済･交通の中心地。両津湾と加茂湖にはさまれた細長い市街地には、昼の繁華街夷本町通りと佐渡一の夜の繁華街、神明町通りや八郎平がある。この地域には加茂湖やドンデン山、二ツ亀など景観の良さも見逃せない。
県内最大の湖、加茂湖（カキの養殖）/ 'Kamo Lake' is the biggest lake in Niigata prefecture, which is famous for cultured oysters.
トビシマカンゾウの咲く大野亀（6月）/ Dumortier's daylilies bloom on 'Onogame' in June.
かつての漁師町「湊」/ 'Minato' is used to be a fisherman villege
新潟駅より / From Niigata Station
新潟港へバス・タクシー約15分（バス大人180円、タクシー小型約1,170円 ）
ジェットフォイルで約1時間、カーフェリーで約2時間半
Take a bus or taxi for Niigata Port (Bus fare: 180 yen per adult; taxi: About 1170 yen )
Then take either Jetfoil or Carferry. (About 1 hour by Jetfoil, and about 2 and half hours by carferry.)
新潟空港より（海路）/ From Niigata Airport (by sea)
新潟港へタクシー約30～40分（小型約2,610円）
ジェットフォイルで約1時間、カーフェリーで約2時間半
Take a taxi for about 30 to 40 minutes to Niigata Port (the fare is about 2610 yen) and about 1 hour by jetfoil or about 2 and half hours by carferry.
新潟空港より（空路）/ From Niigata Airport (by Air)
旭伸航空で約25分（片道7,350円）佐渡空港から車で約15分
About 25 minutes to Sado airport by Kyokushin airline (the airfare is about 7350 yen) and about 15 minutes by car.
